En mi opinión, uno de los directores actuales con más sensibilidad visual es Joe Wright. Hay auténticas tesis en internet sobre la cuidada simbología que emplea en sus películas. Orgullo y Prejuicio fue una de las primeras y es, quizás, mi película favorita. No sé si es la fina banda sonora, las voces originales, la luz, la delicadeza de los colores o la viveza de unos decorados que son como el alma de los personajes. Es curioso como la mente absorbe una imagen. Hay secuencias que huelen a flores, otras a sábanas limpias, otras a tierra mojada. Hay muchas escenas increíbles, pero me quedo con esas en las que los silencios de un personaje, engrandecen la música del momento. Entre mis favoritas, el recorrido de Elisabeth por el hogar de Darcy, mientras te envuelve una suave melodía. Estética y simbolismo en perfecta armonía.

In my opinion, one of the present directors with more visual sensitivity is Joe Wright. There are real thesis on the internet about the careful symbolism used in his films. "Pride and Prejudice" was one of the first ones and is, perhaps, my favorite movie. There are many incredible scenes, but I'll take those in which the silence of a character, ennoble the music of the moment.
